Duration: 2 hours (Pre-flight briefing plus 40minutes flight time)

You may even just want to give a go once- just to see what it’s like. There is no obligation to continue, the only thing you can get wrong is not to try.

Give it a go, with Helicraft's Trial Introductory Flight
The first part of the TIF is the briefing. Your Instructor will show you around the helicopter and explain how it all works. You will learn the basic principles of how a helicopter achieves flight and how to control it while it does.
Next is your safety brief, Everything we do at Helicraft starts and finishes with safety. You will learn how to approach and depart a helicopter, how to get in and out, how to strap yourself in, and how to conduct yourself safely in, out and around of the helicopter.
Now for the most fun part, the flight.
Your instructor will conduct all of the required checks and get the helicopter underway.
All whilst explaining everything they are doing. You will be following closely at the dual controls and starting to get a feel for what it is like to fly a helicopter.
Once clear of the airfield and away from other traffic, your instructor will teach you each flight controls separately and then give you a go.
Before long you will have full control of the aircraft and be manoeuvring the helicopter around the sky!
Always under the direct and close supervision of your instructor who can take control at any time if you feel like you need a break.
After you’ve had a good go we will head back at base where, if you would like to, you can have a go at hovering, (but don't be disheartened if you find hovering a little tricky, it takes most people several lessons to master that!)
Back at base you will receive your certificate of achievement with a hearty congratulations from us. We can also debrief on how you went and discuss options to continue training if you would like to. – no obligation, of course!
